"went for lunch, delicious kampung menus comes in sets. clean and cosy environment with 60's music / lagu rakyat. worth the penny!"
"First time came to this restaurant and may not be the last. Loved the ambience of the place as it has the kampung vibes to it, true to its name. Ordered ikan patin tempoyak and it did not disappoint. Love it! The beef fried rice and buttermilk chicken tasted good too. There's a play area for those with children. Keep up with the good standard food!"
"Service - Good. Friendly staff. Order using qr. Menu - got malay dish like asam pedas, tempoyak and masak lemak. However these don't come with individual set. Got that food also. Taste - Patin tempoyak too sour, can be improved, not really giving wow impression. The daging set, i thought came with rice, i was wrong hahaha. Nevertheless, the dish is enough to fill my hungry stomach. Sauce is sour and spicy, quite good actually. However, found a piece of reaaaaally hard meat slice i can't even bite. Price - within rm20 for each dish, so still okay Payment can be made using cash or QR. No card. Will i come again? Maybe, to try their asam pedas next."
"Lost in old town in Gelang Patah while driving. Met this restaurant. Nice kampung food .. All in sets menu. Price reasonable. Recommended!!"
"A quick scan on Instagram led me to this hidden gem in Gelang Patah, where I stopped for breakfast. Their unique offerings, such as Peknga Pisang, Laksam, Cucur Ikan Bilis, and Lempeng Kelapa, were a refreshing change from the usual nasi lemak and roti canai. The dishes were freshly cooked, and I was particularly impressed by the live stations preparing Peknga Pisang, Cucur Ikan Bilis, and Lempeng Kelapa. The restaurant's menu also features traditional kampong cuisine for lunch, as well as a variety of options for dinner and supper. This place is a must-visit for any meal of the day! And, for a limited time, from December 2025 to January 2026, they're running a lucky draw promotion where you can win jewelry."
"So delicious. Filling and generous portion. Dishes so tasty. Friendly smiling servers. Will return. All these for RM75. Worth the price."
"This restaurant offers a good variety of food at affordable prices. There are set meals to choose from as well as à la carte options. The Siakap Goreng Belado was large, crispy, and full of flavor—the belado sauce was especially tasty. The Udang Lemak Cili Padi was a real standout—absolutely delicious! It wasn’t crowded when I visited around 3 PM, which made for a relaxed dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!"
"If you are looking for something extraordinary food to be try especially when it comes to Thai’s here’s the place. Well i did try the Tomyam, kailan ikan masin and siakap 3 rasa fuhh marvelous . It was hard for me to find restaurant in Johor that can bring the truth touch ouf Thai’s. On the other hand, this restaurant also provides you a huge playground thus you can eat freely while your children are having fun there. There are also numbers of parking spaces and it was free. I came here at night but the staffs were still giving a hand of help for me and my husband to choose our menu. You should try and of course this a halal restaurant and owned by muslim people"
